Master Rim’s Taekwondo is a martial arts academy established in 2008 by Master Sang H. Rim. The academy has provided quality Taekwondo instruction to children, teens, and adults of all ages and abilities at its four locations in Canada.
Master Rim’s Taekwondo is regarded as one of North America’s most successful martial arts schools and has won numerous awards, including being named the Canadian Taekwondo Academy of the Year in 2017. The academy’s success results from its commitment to providing quality instruction and dedication to helping its students reach their full potential.

About Master Rim
Master Rim is a 7th Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo and a Certified International Master Instructor (World Taekwondo Federation) and has been teaching martial arts for over 25 years. He is also a 4th Dan Black Belt in Hapkido (Korea Hapkido Federation), a 1st Dan Black Belt in Judo (Korea Judo Federation), and a Visiting Professor at the Department of Taekwondo and Kinesiology at Chunnam Kwahak College in Korea.
Master Rim is trilingual, speaks Korean, English, and Russian, and has been the Canadian National Team Head Coach since 2010.
He has coached at various international competitions, including the Lima Pan American Games (Lima, Peru), Lima Pan Am Games Qualification Tournament (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic), 2019 Pan Am Jr. Championships (Oregon, USA), The 11th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships (Taipei City, Taipei), The 10th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship (Lima, Peru), The 8th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship (Bali, Indonesia), The 7th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship (Tunja, Colombia), and The 6th World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship (Vladivostok, Russia).
In addition to his coaching achievements, Master Rim is also a Learning Facilitator for the National Coaching Certification Program of Canada (NCCP) and a Chartered Professional Coach (ChPC) through the Coaching Association of Canada.
